A Smarter Way to Sell Real Estate

OneFlatFee was founded on March 22, 2010, in response to a long-overdue shift in Canadian real estate. That year, after pressure from the federal Competition Bureau, the Canadian Real Estate Association amended its policies—giving consumers greater choice and the freedom to access MLS® services without paying full commission.

Recognizing this moment as a turning point, OneFlatFee became the first brokerage in British Columbia to offer flat-fee MLS® listing services. For the first time, homeowners could list their properties on REALTOR.ca with the support of a licensed brokerage, without being locked into high-percentage commissions.

With more than $1.4 billion in property sold and tens of millions of dollars saved in commission, OneFlatFee continues to lead the way in discount realty services for Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and beyond.

Top Surrey Real Estate Agent Mayur Arora is the founder of OneFlatFee, a company born out of his conviction that real estate needed a better model — one rooted in fairness, efficiency, and client-first service. Because of the real estate industry’s resistance to modernization and the unnecessary costs borne by sellers, he launched OneFlatFee in 2010.

Despite pushback from entrenched interests, Mayur Arora’s commitment to innovation and transparency has helped transform how real estate is done in British Columbia. Today, he leads a growing team of agents who share his passion for smarter service and real savings.

Mayur is also an advocate for consumer choice and a frequent voice in media discussions about the future of real estate. Find out more about Mayur Arora at his personal website, MayurArora.com
